No. You do not have to pay anything to anyone to register yourself for Hackathon on R&D, 2025.

Yes, you need to satisfy the Mandatory Eligibility Criteria mentioned in the Overview section and submit proof of eligibility while registering.

Each organization must register as a single entity and have one registration only in each problem statement using a single email ID for themselves. All members of one organization not to register individually. They will work as a team. One entity per organisation will be entertained.

Yes. One organisation can submit one solution for each problem statement. But, it has to fulfil the eligibility criteria before submitting any proposal.

Yes, organizations can collaborate with other entities if required for their solution.

You have to submit your proposal online. First Register your self on the portal. After Registration, login to Portal and then go with Submit new proposal button, fill the Proposal details and Submit.

No, one does not need to be logged in or be online for the entire duration. You can develop your proposal and then submit it once you are ready. Make sure to provide a working contact number, and email ID which is regularly checked.

The organizations will have all rights and own the IP of the product. However, after completion of the Hackathon and after completion of R&D project funded by Ministry of Coal (MoC) / Coal India Limited (CIL), the provisions stated in the 'Guidelines for research projects of Ministry of Coal' (https://scienceandtech.cmpdi.co.in) related to IPR & others shall be strictly adhered to.
